Our client is a leading international contractor delivering complex, large-scale construction projects across Europe. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and high-quality project delivery, the company operates across a wide range of sectors including commercial developments, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and mission-critical data centre facilities.
Due to continued growth within the data centre sector, our client is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Milan.
The successful candidate will support the implementation of all QA/QC activities on site, ensuring that construction works are inspected, tested, and documented in line with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations. Working closely with QA/QC Leads, project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Quality Control Engineer will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, compliant project delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, discipline leads, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of QA/QC procedures on a large-scale data centre project in Milan
• Conduct inspections across CSA and/or MEP works to verify compliance with drawings and specifications
• Assist in the preparation and execution of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure adherence to project quality requirements
• Record and maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test results, and quality records
• Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs), assisting in tracking and close-out of corrective actions
• Coordinate with QA/QC Leads and site teams to ensure timely inspections and approvals
• Participate in site walkdowns, audits, and quality reviews
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities from a quality perspective
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and company standards
• Promote a strong quality and compliance culture across all site activities
